What discontinued and vintage gadgets actually sell for used, from 3,035 eBay sold listings. Medians, the typical range, and how many sales each number rests on.
2000s Canon ELPHs are the hot ticket. A 2007 Canon PowerShot SD1000 now sells for a median of $143 used, and the SD1100, SD1200 and SD780 all sit around $130. That's more than a used TI-84 Plus CE calculator goes for.
The oldest camera here is one of the priciest. Fujifilm's FinePix F31fd from 2006 has a median of $159, beaten only by much newer Canon and Sony models.
Brand and look matter more than age. Sony's 2014 Cyber-shot W830 sells for $170, while Nikon's 2015 Coolpix L340 goes for $60. Kodak's 2007 EasyShare C813 is the cheapest way in at $35.
Pebble Time 2 holds its value. Used units sell for a median of $228, about what a new one costs from Pebble ($225).
Calculators are a buyer's market. A used TI-84 Plus CE has a median of $53, roughly half the new price, and the TI-89 Titanium goes for $40.
Sold, not listed. Every price is a completed eBay sale in US dollars. Asking prices are ignored because plenty never sell.
Used, working units. We drop lots, parts-or-repair listings, accessories sold alone, and new or open-box units.
Median and middle half. The median is the price in the middle of all sales. The middle half is the range from the 25th to the 75th percentile, which is what most buyers actually paid. One collector sale can't move it much.
Item price only. Shipping and tax are excluded.
Sample size shown. A median from 20 sales is a rough guide; one from 200 is solid. Each row says which.
